My week 8

As always It has been very hard to work on it.
I made a lot of things this week I prepared my own hand out with the sites Robert gave us to take advantage of them.
My students created their blog to work in our project as you must remember my project is to do the constrast with simple present and present progressive.
I am doing well and also my dear Partner Nori.
We are sorking so hadr in our projects. And we have to be prepared to sen the last job on June 3th as Robert said.
Well I have a little more to work and I hope everything will be good.
The discussions was good too. We met Mr. Magoto. It was very interesting to know that `people work to help the teachers to help teachers those web pages are excellent because they promote to be the students independant and try to do self job and thus be autonomous.

Video Simple Present Vs Present Progressive

Seven Week

Dear friends and Robert. It is amazing to realize that we are almost finishing our course and really we have learned a lot.
For me the course has been with a lot of knowledge because I have got a great knowledge about new things for me such as bloggers, web quest, interactive power point and all the readings we have to give our oppinions , well all the new and interesting things we have done during this weeks, This in particular has been excellent because We can really aply our real knowledge because we are working in our projects. So let me tell you how is my project going.

As I tell you in the middle of the Week.
My project is to have the contrast with Simple Present and Present Progressive or continuous.
First. I have talked to my students (Third level from 20 to 26 years old.)Total Students 28.
I told them taht our regular classes with CD player and TV are going to change in this next week. they are concious that they are going to use a computer in the class. and work with some new web techniques.
Second they are going to watch a simple power point with the material they are going to work. (blog, web quest and Interactive Power Point)
Third. They have to create their blog and in it they have to comment the progress they have in their job. The project is that the students have to prepare a real conversation with wll know people. Each estudent is going to choose a famous well-known person to act as he or she. For example one of the student says she is Shakira a famous Colombian singer or Mr. Obama ..... so on... Once they chouse their famous person they have to organize a party and one of them is going to be a TV announcer who is going to comment all the things are happening during the party. and also other reporters are going to interview the famous people in order to practice Somple Present (daily activities).
The students have to post the real name of him or her and the chosen famous people names.
Four: They have to act in the class the Tea Party they are having at the moment and they they are going to create an interactive power point to show how they have felt during the performance in the party. Of course they have to stablish the difference between Simple Present and Present Continuous.
Five. to evaluate we are going to work with the rubric.
That is my project.

Remember that is the first time my students are going to see and use a laptop in the class.
I got the laptop and I bought the internet with the movi plan of my cellphone.
Please, Encourage me and bless me to keep me project up.

Week 7 at the middle

Well, well dear friend I am glad you are going to work with me this week Nori.
To you and the other partners I have to tell you that I am working with my students on the difference between Simple Present and Present Preogressive.
They are 30 students from 20 t0 36 years old and they are in the third elemetary level. i don't consider third level in intermediate.
So i an working in these differences.
The students ans I are working in the basic use of technology just at the moment we are working with a laptop and a bought internet by the movi telephone conection. It is very expensive but it is just for the moment . I hope to have my own computer lab with all the tools I need. for the use of technology. However we are just watching videos aboiut daily activities(simple present) and things are happening now (Present progressive) .
To continue working in the tech nology I want to work with interactive power point and rubrics of course I need to work with my and your delicious because there I can find some useful wiki for the different activities I want to apply.
at the moment it is my big project and with my partner Nori are going to check our projects.

Week 6

This week has been very difficult Especially for  the Interactive Power Point because it has been really long  to do that. I spend long hours trying  to create a good  and useful one. However people  who visited  my  Power Point advise me to include action buttons . I am going to Check it and trying  to solve it. Is really hard because I used  to do power points just  for presentations  when I present  some information and  I have never done an interactive one. I am trying . I am  trying.

The readings that we have this week were very interesting because they help us in the way how  to work with large groups, the power interactive, assessment.

Well the participation in discussions was useful and also the partners  help each other  to find an implement our jobs.

This week about  our guest I have  a blank because they never answer me my question, however Forum  magazines are very useful, interesting and amazing  for  me every time I read I like them a lot.

I am struggled  with the  Interactive Power point  if  someone  can help me I appreciate your ideas especially trying  to have action buttons, and the jeopardy game.????

As always this course is very interesting  and helpful for me.

According  to the implementation and changes  in my classes I am happy  to listen to  the authorities of  my University are working  to implement a lab with computers, so I suppose they are going  to provide us with inter net  and the necessary things we need to work with technology. That is my change and implementation, the continue talking  and talking about  the need of that I hope one  day we  can have all the things  we need  for  the modern classes of English. Today I am just working alone and using the flash memory to store the value information for  my changes.

I will let you know  about my progress.

Week 5 Rubrics. assessment PBL

It is very intereting finding out more useful things that can help  techers in their way of teaching.  The PBL, Assessment  and Rubrics I think is a great job for  the people that  want  to change  their  behaivor in teaching  and learning.
All these  aids  I think are going  to help me. I like  to apply with my students.
